Job summary

Signify in Littlestown, PA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, optimize, and support manufacturing processes aimed at improving safety, efficiency, quality, and production performance at the Littlestown Production Unit.

You will collaborate with R&D, sales, marketing, and operations to introduce new products, implement time studies, and ensure smooth 3D printing and assembly, while applying lean methods to reduce defects and boost output.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related discipline.
• Mechanical and/or electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods is ideal.
• Data-driven with reporting and communication skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, document, and complete engineering projects to improve production capacity, quality, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with R&D, sales, marketing, operations, and others on new product offerings and launches.
• Work with operations to ensure efficient 3D printing and assembly and follow manufacturing standards.
• Implement time studies to improve capacity planning for assembly and manufacturing activities.
• Create standard work, instructions, and quality standards and maintain related data.
• Promote continuous improvement and lean methodologies within cross-functional teams.
