Job summary

Saint-Gobain North America is launching its 18-month Essentials of Manufacturing (EOM) program to develop engineers into manufacturing leaders at a single plant with quarterly travel to other sites.

The program blends classroom-style e-learnings with hands-on, site projects focused on process improvements, safety, and automation, offering growth, mobility, and exposure across Saint-Gobain's North American network.

Qualifications

• B.S. in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical etc.)
• Internship experience in manufacturing or professional setting is a plus
• Valid passport required for international travel to Canada

Responsibilities

• Providing engineering support for site process improvements.
• Supporting capital expenditure projects/new equipment installations.
• Supporting safety/sustainability initiatives at the plant.
• Implementing new automation processes at the site.
• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction and quality improvement.
