Job summary

Saint-Gobain North America offers an 18‑month Essentials of Manufacturing (EOM) program, designed to develop engineers for Manufacturing 4.0. Participants will work full‑time at a single plant, with quarterly travel to other North American sites, and an 80:20 time split between local projects and program activities.

Upon successful completion, EOM Engineers are considered for final placement within the host business, with discussions mid‑program to align on long‑term goals across Saint‑Gobain’s

Qualifications

• B.S. in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical etc.).
• Internship experience in manufacturing or professional setting is a plus
• Valid passport required for international travel to Canada

Responsibilities

• Providing engineering support for site process improvements.
• Supporting safety/sustainability initiatives at the plant.
• Implementing new automation processes at the site.
• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction and quality improvement.
