Job summary

Saint-Gobain North America is launching an 18-month Essentials of Manufacturing (EOM) program to develop engineers into manufacturing leaders. The program places participants at one manufacturing plant for 18 months in Largo, FL, with quarterly travel to other Saint-Gobain sites across North America.

You’ll lead CI and OpEx projects, collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, engineering, and supply chain teams, and apply Lean, Six Sigma, and World Class Manufacturing tools.

Qualifications

• BS in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical, etc.).
• Internship experience in manufacturing is a plus.
• Valid passport required for international travel to Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for site process improvements.
• Support capital expenditure projects and equipment installations.
• Support safety and sustainability initiatives at the plant.
• Implement new automation processes at the site.
• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction and quality improvement.
