Job summary

RealTruck is seeking a Supervisor of Manufacturing Engineering in Indiana to lead the engineering team and optimize production flow and floor layouts. You will drive labor reduction, oversee fixtures, tooling, and automation, and champion processes that support zero-defect quality at low cost.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, 4+ years of experience with 1+ year of leadership, and strong Lean, CAD/CAM, and ERP exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering required.
• 4+ years of experience required and 1+ years of leadership preferred.
• Lean or Continuous Improvement knowledge and experience required.
• CAD/CAM software experience is required.
• ERP or manufacturing software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineers and direct daily activities of the department.
• Manage production process direction, floor layouts, and labor reduction efforts.
• Oversee design/development of fixtures, tooling, automation, and processes for quality and cost goals.
• Improve efficiency by analyzing workflow, space needs, and equipment layout.
• Recommend changes, justify costs, and coordinate new processes/systems.
• Ensure full utilization of engineering resources.
• Assist with troubleshooting and implementation on product roadmaps.
