Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, is hiring for a Manufacturing Electrical/Test Engineering position supporting the Bellevue, Iowa facility. You will verify and sustain test processes, equipment, and procedures used in manufacturing Collins Aerospace products.

Responsibilities include improving test yields, root-cause analysis, downtime reduction, and collaboration with design engineering to sustain production. Onsite role with relocation eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Experience providing technical leadership during manufacture and test of avionics products.
• Basic knowledge of statistics and Six Sigma concepts.

Responsibilities

• Participate in cross-functional team efforts to improve test yields and production throughput.
• Identify test failure trends and perform root-cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Study performance and reliability of test equipment and reduce downtime.
• Analyze test approaches for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
• Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for test equipment needs.
• Support producibility and testability initiatives for new designs.
