Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Manufacturing Electrical/Test Engineer III for our Melbourne, FL facility. You will develop, verify, and sustain test processes, equipment, and procedures used in manufacturing Collins Aerospace products onsite in Melbourne.

This is an onsite role with relocation assistance provided. You will contribute to test improvements, troubleshoot equipment, and mentor others while supporting a strong production schedule.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience in Manufacturing Engineering or an Advanced Degree with 3+ years experience.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing with product testing focus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in cross-functional team efforts to improve test yields, production throughput, test capacity, and overall product quality.
• Identify failure trends and perform root cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Study performance and reliability of test equipment and reduce downtime.
• Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for staffing and equipment needs.
• Support Production Readiness Reviews and test solutions validation.
