Job summary

StaffSource represents a well-established manufacturing organization seeking an experienced EHS Coordinator to lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives while maintaining a safe, compliant workplace.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Environmental Science or related field and 5+ years of EHS leadership, with CSP/ASP preferred. Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA and ISO 14001 is essential, along with the ability to train staff and manage records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• 5+ years of EHS/safety leadership experience, preferably within manufacturing.
• CSP, ASP, or similar certification preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001.
• Experience with OSHA reporting and safety documentation.
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of an organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain health and safety programs.
• Conduct workplace safety assessments and recommend improvements.
• Manage hazardous waste collection, storage, transportation, and disposal.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide employee safety training and education.
• Maintain OSHA 300 Logs, training documentation, accident reports, and other required records.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 requirements.
• Lead emergency response planning and initiatives.
• Support ISO 14001 audits, corrective actions, policies, procedures, and certification requirements.
• Track and report DART and TRC metrics.
• Participate in Management Review Meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
