Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Manufacturing Data Entry / Customer Service Representative with EDI and SPS Commerce experience in Chicago, IL. You will manage customer orders from entry to delivery and serve as the liaison between customers and internal teams in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

The role requires proficiency with EDI and SPS Commerce, strong communication, organization, and Excel skills, and a willingness to work a 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned customer orders from entry through delivery.
• Use EDI and SPS Commerce systems to process and track orders.
• Serve as the primary contact for customer questions, needs, and concerns.
• Proactively identify potential issues and resolve them before they affect the customer.
• Monitor inventory levels, report inventory status, and recommend replenishment actions when needed.
• Follow all steps of the order fulfillment process using network systems, word-processing tools, and spreadsheet applications.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate pricing, products, quantities, and order details.
• Prepare clear and concise reports, documentation, and routine customer correspondence.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints involving damages, shortages, incorrect quantities, or incorrect items.
• Support the Customer Service Manager with additional responsibilities as assigned.
