Job summary

Coworx Staffing Services LLC in Westford, MA is seeking a proactive Customer Service Specialist to support manufacturing operations. You will coordinate with Shipping, Quality Control, and Administrative teams to process orders, entries, and documentation, and ensure timely communication with customers and vendors.

The role requires 3–5 years in customer service and manufacturing, excellent communication, and strong attention to detail.

3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Able to work effectively with Shipping, Quality Control, and Administrative teams
Extremely organized with strong attention to detail
Manufacturing background is strongly preferred
Experience working with prints, revisions, and production processes is beneficial

Responsibilities

Set-up new customers in JobBOSS;
Advise Office Manager to perform credit checks on new customers;
Expedite customer orders throughout shop and through vendors;
Call vendors for pick-ups and drop offs;
Update customer-specific controlled documents for assemblies per distribution requirements;
Track overages in Stock Room and in Excel spreadsheet;
Send open order information to customers and vendors;
Track customer gauges and return to customer, as requested;
Send weekly machine shop capacity to customer;
Upload certificates in customer portals, as required;
Track and change passwords for customer sites/portals for RFQs and prints;
Run production meetings;
Upload scanned documents to the server;
Answer phones.
