Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble electrical products according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly diagrams, and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and assembly equipment safely.
• Inspect completed products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Receive, move, and organize materials throughout the facility.
• Build and prepare pallets for outgoing shipments.
• Maintain accurate inventory, production, and shipping records.
• Enter customer orders and update information in the ERP system.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, products, and shipments.
• Prepare shipping documentation and customer correspondence.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, and customer service teams.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a safe work environment.

Location: Waukegan, IL

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Schedule: 7:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday

We are seeking a Manufacturing Customer Service Coordinator to support production, assembly, warehouse operations, and customer service activities. This hands-on position combines manufacturing and assembly work with order entry, customer communication, inventory tracking, and administrative support. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and enjoys a fast-paced environment with a variety of daily responsibilities.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Additional customer service, business, or office training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and mechanical diagrams
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Previous manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, production, customer service, or order entry experience preferred
• Electrical manufacturing or electronics assembly experience is a plus
