You will enter and modify orders, maintain forecasts, and respond to inquiries while ensuring high customer satisfaction and loyalty through professional communication. Some travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in a business-related discipline or some college is preferred.
• Experience in customer service in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of operations required to work with customers.
• Enter new orders and make changes to existing orders.
• Enter and maintain order forecasts and respond to order inquiries.
• Follow customer route and contact the truckline to pick up.
• Interface with Engineering, Production, Accounting, Shipping dock, and Purchasing to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Generate strong customer loyalty through relationship-building via telephone and e-mail.
• Participate in occasional customer visits to the facility and events outside normal hours.
• Assure customer satisfaction at the highest levels.
• Create BOLs and paperwork for the parts to ship.

Maintain and enhance the relationship on a continuing basis by providing outstanding customer care to manage existing orders, enter new orders, and manage projects in the most efficient and prompt manner possible. Provide a level of customer service that enables the customer to be fully aware of their account status without the necessity of the customer constantly monitoring their orders and projects.
