Job summary

Amtec Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Production Control Coordinator to manage the flow of products through the manufacturing cycle. You will generate work orders, monitor WIP, and resolve material shortages to align shop-floor execution with customer delivery dates.

Collaborating with Master Scheduler, Production Supervisors, and Supply Chain, you will ensure accurate ERP/MRP activity and timely updates across teams. A background in electronics manufacturing or PCBA is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience in production control, material expediting, shop-floor scheduling, or production coordination.

Responsibilities

• Generate, issue, and maintain manufacturing work orders and job documentation using our ERP/MRP system.
• Track daily Work-in-Process (WIP) on the production floor to keep builds moving on schedule and identify potential delays early.
• Coordinate directly with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production teams to track missing components and expedite parts to the floor.
• Perform daily ERP/MRP transactions, update job statuses, and complete line tracking reports.
• Partner closely with Program Management, Engineering, and Operations to communicate schedule updates and support on-time customer delivery.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Control Coordinator to oversee, plan, and monitor the flow of products throughout the entire manufacturing cycle. Working closely with our Master Scheduler, Production Supervisors, and Supply Chain team, you will generate and manage work orders, resolve material shortages, and ensure shop-floor execution aligns directly with customer delivery dates and internal production goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Work Order Processing: Generate, issue, and maintain manufacturing work orders and job documentation using our ERP/MRP system.
• Shop-Floor Expediting: Track daily Work-in-Process (WIP) on the production floor to keep builds moving on schedule and identify potential delays early.
• Material Shortage Management: Coordinate directly with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production teams to track missing components and expedite parts to the floor.
• ERP Data Maintenance: Perform daily ERP/MRP transactions, update job statuses, and complete line tracking reports.
• Cross-Functional Support: Partner closely with Program Management, Engineering, and Operations to communicate schedule updates and support on-time customer delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in production control, material expediting, shop-floor scheduling, or production coordination.
• Industry Background: Experience in an electronics manufacturing, PCBA, or high-mix/low-volume manufacturing environment preferred.
• ERP Knowledge: Hands-on experience using ERP/MRP systems to issue work orders, track inventory, and review component availability.
• Computer & Excel Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Excel (data entry, tracking logs) and general computer applications.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
