Job summary
Accountants One is seeking an experienced Controller to lead the company's accounting and financial operations. This role oversees financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost and inventory accounting, and internal controls.
The Controller will partner with operations and executive leadership to drive profitability and strategic financial decisions. The ideal candidate will have CPA certification, a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 7+ years of accounting experience with
Qualifications
- CPA certification required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership.
- Manufacturing and cost accounting experience required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and inventory accounting.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Oversee cost accounting, inventory accounting, and standard costing.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Partner with operations to improve profitability and financial performance.
- Lead and develop the accounting team.
