Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is helping a Brownsburg-area manufacturer hire a Manufacturing Controller to lead daily accounting operations, oversee the general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting while partnering with operations to improve profitability and process discipline.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of progressive manufacturing finance leadership, strong cost accounting expertise, ERP experience, and advanced Excel; CPA or

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance leadership experience, preferably within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing financial processes.
• Experience managing month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• ERP system experience and advanced Excel skills.
• CPA or CMA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Manage and develop accounting staff while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Partner with manufacturing and operational leaders to improve profitability and control costs.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Coordinate audits, tax reporting, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and operational performance metrics.
