Creative Financial Staffing, LLC seeks an Accounting Consultant (Controller Level) to lead day-to-day accounting for a local manufacturing client. You will oversee GL, close processes, and financial reporting while partnering with operations and executive leadership to drive accuracy and growth.

The role emphasizes budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and internal controls, with involvement in audits and process improvements in a high-visibility environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong grasp of financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Experience leading accounting functions at Controller/Assistant Controller/Senior Accounting Manager level.
• CPA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting activities.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Support audits, tax preparation, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
