Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited, located in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Business Development Director to lead growth in the Manufacturing vertical and drive demand and larger deals across the organization.

The role requires a strong track record in selling to manufacturing clients, building CXO-level relationships, and shaping opportunities with cross-functional teams. This is a full-time role based on-site in WA, with a comprehensive benefits package and incentive opportunities.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of overall selling experience with majority in Manufacturing vertical.
• Broad understanding of Manufacturing sub-verticals (Industrial, Automotive, Chemicals & Process).
• Experience with supplier selection processes including RFI and RFP issuance and response management.

Responsibilities

• Create new business opportunities for Manufacturing vertical, including new logo acquisitions and growing select existing relationships.
• Generate demand for TCS portfolio of solutions and services in Manufacturing industry groups.
• Create large deals by spotting market opportunities and positioning themes like operating model transformation and process automation.
• Establish CXO relationships and generate market momentum for TCS in the identified pursuit portfolio.
• Engage with TCS ecosystem to proactively shape large deals for the target segment.
• Achieve TC V growth targets, originate deals, and acquire new logos through proactive-demand generation and consultative selling.
