Job summary

Novo Nordisk in Clayton, NC is seeking an experienced IT/Engineering professional to ensure reliable operation of local manufacturing applications and improve process control systems to meet regulatory requirements.

You will lead cross-functional projects, coordinate software upgrades, mentor colleagues, and partner with production and corporate teams to drive continuous improvement. Travel up to 10%; PAS-X/PLC/SCADA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/engineering or related field; 8 years of IT/engineering in process manufacturing.
• Alternative: Associate’s degree with 10 years in process-based manufacturing and IT/engineering.
• Technical knowledge: PAS-X, POInT, PLC, SCADA.
• Strong project planning/execution experience; Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with production and corporate to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Present initiatives clearly and translate industry jargon for stakeholders.
• Identify requirements through stakeholder engagement and gap analysis.
• Develop action plans aligned with production goals and implement them.
• Provide input on product features and process improvements.
• Coordinate software upgrades and releases for applicable systems.
• Coach colleagues and stakeholders in relevant areas; align with schedules.
• Lead large projects involving specified application solutions.
