Top Gum North America (formerly Island Abbey Nutritionals™) is seeking an North America Accounting Technician to manage accounts payable and receivable, support month-end close, and maintain accurate financial records within a regulated manufacturing setting.

The role requires 2+ years in AP/AR or general accounting, and a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proficiency with SAP/Oracle and MS Excel is expected, with strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years in AP/AR or general accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable: review, verify, and process vendor invoices; review employee expense reports; match invoices to POs; ensure timely payments; reconcile vendor statements; maintain vendor files; communicate invoice status and questions.
• Accounts Receivable: generate and send customer invoices; monitor accounts for timely payments; apply payments; prepare aging reports; assist with collections.
• General Accounting Support: assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings; support Budget vs Actuals reporting; manage Canadian and US sales tax; collaborate with team; support audits; maintain ERP records.
