Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. seeks a Finance professional to oversee financial transaction compliance, reconciliation, and reporting for internal management and external stakeholders.

The role includes cost accounting, budgeting, accounts payable/receivable support, and collaboration with department managers to monitor budgets and variances. Team leaders supervise staff and ensure policies are followed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in finance or accounting within a manufacturing environment
• 4-year degree in accounting or finance
• Strong GAAP knowledge; IFRS familiarity is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings and reconciliations
• Support cost accounting and related reporting activities
• Collaborate with department managers to monitor budgets, perform gap analyses, and track variances
• Participate in inventory processes and annual expense budgeting
• Prepare and maintain accounting forms, documentation, and work instructions
• Assist with internal and external audit requests and reporting
• Contribute to process improvements to increase efficiency while maintaining accuracy
• Ensure accuracy and integrity in all financial reporting
• Communicate effectively with management and team members
• Follow safety procedures and company policies, including PPE usage
• Manage multiple projects and priorities, delegating when appropriate
• Prepare accruals and review reconciliations
• Track and report plan vs. actuals
