Job summary

ASTEMO OHIO MANUFACTURING, INC. is seeking a finance professional to assist in planning and directing accounting activities across the organization, either personally or through a team.

You will help close monthly, quarterly, and year-end books, support cost accounting, and collaborate with department managers on budgets and variances. The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing accounting and a 4-year degree in accounting, with strong Excel and ERP system skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years minimum in a similar function within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong GAAP knowledge; IFRS familiarity.
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, reconciliations, and analysis.
• Support cost accounting functions and related reporting.
• Collaborate with managers to monitor budgets, gap analyses, and variances.
• Participate in quarterly physical inventories and budget creation.
• Prepare accounting forms, documentation, and work instructions for training and procedures.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests and reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements to increase efficiency while ensuring accuracy.
• Ensure accuracy in all financial reporting and communicate with management.
