Aston Carter is seeking an Accountant for a Contract to Hire role based in Tualatin, Oregon. The ideal candidate will maintain financial accuracy, support month-end processes, and ensure integrity of reporting within a manufacturing context.

You will handle cost accounting, inventory valuation, and production cost analysis while partnering with operations to improve processes and controls. Attention to detail and collaborative problem solving are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required in accounting, finance, economics, business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in general ledger accounting.
• Experience with journal entries, month-end closing, reconciliations.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Lead all daily accounting operations including AP/AR, GL, payroll and fixed assets.
• Manage month-end and year-end close to ensure timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and adjusting entries.
• Oversee banking activities and bank reconciliations.
• Oversee cost accounting activities, including standard costing and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and operations to drive cost insights and margins.
