Job summary

Aston Carter is hiring an Accountant for a manufacturing-focused role based in Tualatin, Oregon. You will oversee all accounting operations, including GL, AP/AR, and cost accounting, driving accurate month-end closes and robust internal controls.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in general ledger accounting, with strong Excel (pivot and VLOOKUP) and ERP experience. This onsite position offers a competitive hourly rate and contract-to-hire opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in general ledger accounting.
• Experience with journal entries, month-end close, reconciliations.
• Experience budgeting/forecasting and financial analysis.
• Experience in manufacturing environment.
• Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP) and ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Manage month-end and year-end close for accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals and adjustments.
• Oversee bank reconciliations and banking activities.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and internal controls.
• Collaborate with auditors and support ERP enhancements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Partner with operations to analyze cost drivers and margins.
