Job summary

HungryPanda is seeking a results-driven Sales/Business Development professional in California to acquire merchants and drive order growth. You will build strong relationships, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with marketing and delivery teams to optimize merchant performance.

The successful candidate will leverage Mandarin fluency, operate in a fast-paced environment, and travel as needed to meet merchants and ensure successful implementation of solutions.

Qualifications

• Fluent Mandarin required.
• At least 1 year in business development or sales; foodservice or delivery experience is a plus.
• Strong time management and project management skills.
• High sensitivity to market trends and data.
• Strong commercial acumen and desire to work with restaurants; not afraid of rejection; excellent people skills.
• Able to coordinate with multiple teams to promote business cooperation.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and own a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Acquire merchants and help them increase orders and GMV.
• Arrange in-person meetings to negotiate contracts with potential merchants.
• Maintain and improve relationships with merchants and ensure high service quality.
• Conduct regular merchant visits and manage merchant materials.
• Ensure timely delivery of solutions aligned with customer needs and objectives.
• Maintain and update backend settings for each merchant.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Delivery Operations to align growth strategies for GMV.
