Job summary

Citizens is seeking a friendly, outgoing Bank Customer Advisor in the Potomac area. You will help customers with spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs, delivering trusted advice and building lasting relationships.

You’ll introduce digital banking options, collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking teams, and schedule financial checkups with new customers. A high school diploma and Mandarin bilingual ability are required.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• Bilingual in Mandarin.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience, demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration.
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Meet SAFE Act requirements including pre-employment checks and NMLS identifier.

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions across spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs.
• Build lasting relationships by getting to know customers and offering trusted advice.
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile-first banking options via app or ATMs.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking partners to address complex needs.
