Bain & Company’s Future Back Ventures seeks a Managing Partner to lead the strategic venture capital platform within the firm. You will define long‑term investment strategy, govern capital deployment, negotiate with targets, and coordinate due diligence with IC decisions and portco support for maximum LP returns.

The role reports to Bain leadership, aligns with enterprise priorities, and drives fundraising, partnerships, and talent development across the FBV portfolio.

Qualifications

• Leadership in venture capital with strong performance track record.
• Experience negotiating and closing venture investments, including term sheets.
• Fundraising experience for new or follow-on funds preferred.

Responsabilités

• Define and evolve fund strategy and portfolio construction for Future Back Ventures.
• Lead investment evaluation, capital deployment, and governance decisions.
• Coordinate portfolio oversight, relationships with LPs, and external advisors.
• Develop and lead the venture investment team and cross-functional collaboration.
• Engage alumni network and external partners to advance venture activities.
