Job summary

Bain & Company is seeking a Managing Partner for Future Back Ventures to steer the venture platform, set long-term investment strategy, and govern capital deployment. You’ll coordinate diligence, align with IC decisions, and support portcos to maximize returns for LPs.

You’ll advise Bain leadership on venture strategy, engage alumni networks, and drive fund portfolio governance, capital allocation, and external partnerships to strengthen the firm’s venture ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in seed/Series A investing and portfolio construction.
• Proven ability to source, negotiate, and close venture investments.
• Experience fundraising for new or follow-on funds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve fund strategy and portfolio construction for FBV.
• Lead investment approvals, term sheets, and governance controls.
• Oversee capital allocation and portfolio oversight with Bain teams.
• Foster alumni and LP relationships and external partnerships.
