Bain & Company, through Future Back Ventures, seeks a Managing Partner to lead the strategic venture capital platform. You will define long-term investment strategy, govern capital deployment, negotiate with targets, coordinate diligence, and align portcos with LPs and Bain leadership.

You will lead fundraising efforts, engage with LPs, and supervise portfolio oversight, while collaborating with Bain executives to scale the fund's impact across early-stage investments.

Formación

• Deep expertise in early-stage investing, portfolio construction, and capital allocation.
• Track record of finding, negotiating and closing venture investments, including deal sourcing and negotiations.
• Experience fundraising for new or follow-on funds, especially with high-net-worth segments.
• Ability to operate with senior Bain leadership and engaging startups' founders.

Responsabilidades

• Define and evolve FBV's fund strategy and portfolio construction across funds.
• Lead investment authority, governance, and capital deployment decisions.
• Close complex investments with term sheets and governance rights.
• Build and lead the FBV investment team and processes.
• Engage alumni and strategic networks to create deal flow and value.
• Represent Bain and FBV in external conferences and investor forums.
• Coordinate risk and legal reviews with Bain's risk teams and external advisors.
• Advance internal communication and alignment with Bain’s enterprise priorities.
