Job summary

Slalom Build is seeking a Managing Director for Data and Technology Solutions in Greater New York. You will lead growth, client relationships, and high-performing teams across data, cloud, and software engineering, delivering modern data platforms, analytics, and AI initiatives.

The role blends business development with technical leadership, requiring deep expertise in data engineering, AI adoption, and enterprise-scale architectures. Travel and onsite work may be needed.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience leading data, analytics, AI, or cloud transformation initiatives.
• Proven success growing consulting businesses, practices, portfolios, or strategic client accounts.
• Experience influencing executive stakeholders and leading complex business and technology transformations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large pursuits, develop pipeline, and drive revenue growth.
• Track record of building, developing, and mentoring high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Grow the Business: Build executive relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CAIOs, and business leaders.
• Grow revenue through strategic account development, pipeline creation, and complex pursuits.
• Lead executive discovery sessions, solution workshops, and business case development.
• Partner across capabilities to shape integrated transformation solutions with measurable value.
• Develop go-to-market offerings in Data Engineering & AI.
