Job summary

Ozarks Springbirds in Springfield, MO, seeks a Suites & Catering Manager to lead premium catering operations for all events at Route 66 Stadium. You will hire and develop a seasonal team, collaborate with the Chef and F&B leadership on exciting menus, and ensure top-tier service from setup to execution.

You will manage costs, labor, and supplies within budget, maintain food safety standards, and work closely with the front office to ensure exceptional guest experiences across all events.

This position reports to the Director, Food & Beverage.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Hire, train, and manage a team of seasonal employeesMaintain a strong presence in all hospitality areas throughout the entirety of the eventInitiate contact with clients to obtain their food and beverage orders prior to the event and act as primary point of contact before, during, and after the eventCollaborate with the Chef and Director of F&B to create and execute an exciting premium menuWork closely with the Director of F&B to manage costs as it relates to labor, food and beverage, operating supplies, smallwares, etc., working within established budgetsEnsure that all equipment is in proper operational condition and is cleaned on a regular basisMaintain a consistent level of service, including setup, menu presentation, food quality, and overall event executionConstantly communicate with the front office for information and updates regarding attendance in hospitality areasPerform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required; this role will support other departments as neededMinimum Qualifications:Previous leadership experience in the food and beverage industry, to include large- scale catering and premium operationsStrong commitment to delivering on an exceptional fan experienceCustomer service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of managementStrong working knowledge of all facets of the food and beverage industry, including but not limited to food safety, sanitation, inventory control, labor management, quality control, responsible beverage serviceExcellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate and influenceFamiliarity with various POS and BOH systems and the ability to troubleshoot these systems when neededBachelor’s degree preferredAbility to work all Ozark Springbirds home games and non- baseball events
