The Ozarks Springbirds, Double-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, seek a Suites & Catering Manager to oversee premium catering operations for Route 66 Stadium. You will lead a team of seasonal staff and partner with culinary leadership to deliver outstanding fan experiences.

This on-site role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and customer service skills, with a focus on safety, quality, and timely service across all events.

Qualificações

• Previous leadership experience in food and beverage, including large-scale catering and premium operations.
• Strong commitment to delivering exceptional fan experiences.
• Customer service oriented with ability to interact with all levels of management.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, inventory control, labor management, quality control, and responsible beverage service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate and influence.
• Familiarity with POS and BOH systems and ability to troubleshoot.

Responsabilidades

• Lead client food and beverage orders and serve as primary contact before, during, and after events.
• Collaborate with Chef and Director of F&B to create and execute premium menus.
• Help manage costs related to labor, food/bev, and operating supplies within budgets.
• Ensure equipment is operational and regularly cleaned.
• Maintain high service levels including setup, presentation, quality, and execution.
• Communicate with front office for attendance updates in hospitality areas.
• Support other departments as needed.

Position Overview

The Suites & Catering Manager is responsible for effectively and profitably managing premium and catering operations for all baseball and non-baseball events at Route 66 Stadium. This position reports to the Director, Food & Beverage.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and manage a team of seasonal employees
• Maintain a strong presence in all hospitality areas throughout the entirety of the event
• Initiate contact with clients to obtain their food and beverage orders prior to the event and act as primary point of contact before, during, and after the event
• Collaborate with the Chef and Director of F&B to create and execute an exciting premium menu
• Work closely with the Director of F&B to manage costs as it relates to labor, food and beverage, operating supplies, smallwares, etc., working within established budgets
• Ensure that all equipment is in proper operational condition and is cleaned on a regular basis
• Maintain a consistent level of service, including setup, menu presentation, food quality, and overall event execution
• Constantly communicate with the front office for information and updates regarding attendance in hospitality areas
• Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required; this role will support other departments as needed

• Previous leadership experience in the food and beverage industry, to include large-scale catering and premium operations
• Strong commitment to delivering on an exceptional fan experience
• Customer service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of management
• Strong working knowledge of all facets of the food and beverage industry, including but not limited to food safety, sanitation, inventory control, labor management, quality control, responsible beverage service
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate and influence
• Familiarity with various POS and BOH systems and the ability to troubleshoot these systems when needed
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Ability to work all Ozark Springbirds home games and non-baseball events
