For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Software Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This leader will guide software development teams through the full delivery lifecycle, with a focus on disciplined execution, strong technical practices, and cross-functional alignment. The role will partner closely with Product Management, Quality Assurance, and other Engineering stakeholders to keep priorities clear and delivery on track. You will also help strengthen team capacity, improve development consistency, and support productivity through modern practices and AI-enabled approaches.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $150,000 – $185,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead product development teams through all phases of the software development lifecycle.


• Manage and prioritize development tasks using Jira, coordinating with Product Management.


• Drive alignment on resources and schedules to optimize team capacity and talent utilization.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure coordinated delivery across dependencies.


• Contribute to and track development roadmaps, milestones, and progress.


• Champion the adoption of AI-driven practices to enhance engineering productivity.


• Establish and maintain consistency in development practices and stakeholder engagement.


• Provide mentoring and technical leadership to team members while managing competing priorities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing software development teams, ideally in SaaS or cloud environments.


• Familiarity with Java and .NET platforms and CI/CD practices.


• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, resource planning, and delivery execution.


• Proven track record of managing multiple priorities and driving projects to completion.


• Experience collaborating with Product Management, Quality Assurance, and Engineering teams.


• Proficient in Jira and Confluence for development and collaboration.


• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
