Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Director of Software Engineering, Platform Services to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This leader will shape the strategy for shared engineering platforms that help development teams move faster, build more consistently, and operate with greater reliability. The role will focus on internal developer experience, production services, and AI-assisted development practices that scale across the organization. In partnership with senior technology leaders and engineering teams, this person will drive frameworks, tooling, and operational discipline that improve delivery and service performance.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $208,761 – $306,182 annually

Qualifications

• History of managing production services and incident response
• Strong communication skills with C-Level leaders
