For our client, we are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.
This role will lead high-performing engineering efforts that power customer-facing experiences and partner-facing platform capabilities. The Senior Engineering Manager will help shape technical strategy, coordinate execution across teams, and ensure the organization delivers reliable, scalable solutions. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who can balance short-term delivery with long-term platform investment while building strong, inclusive teams.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Compensation: $210,000 - $230,000 annually.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead a high-performing engineering team while influencing broader team direction.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define product and engineering strategies and measurable outcomes.
- Translate business needs into clear priorities, balancing experimentation with long-term platform investment.
- Coordinate work across teams to align ownership and sequencing for the partner experience.
- Anticipate dependencies and risks, establishing mechanisms for early resolution.
- Maintain high engineering standards and guide the development of secure, reliable APIs.
- Use partner feedback and service metrics to inform product decisions and team learning.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in leadership roles.
- Proven track record of delivering reliable, customer-facing products across multiple teams.
- Experience in shaping multi-quarter strategies and balancing immediate and long-term goals.
- Familiarity with external APIs, developer platforms, and distributed backend systems.
- Strong technical judgment in backend systems or API design, with a focus on quality and reliability.
- Experience in building inclusive teams and coaching engineers at various levels.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and create alignment across diverse groups.
