Job Summary

Serves as the primary individual overseeing planning, development, and execution of Adventist Health’s revenue cycle training program. Manages a team of revenue cycle learning specialists. Supports end-to-end revenue cycle training and education for Adventist Health’s revenue cycle learning program. Collaborates with input from revenue cycle leaders and other key stakeholders to determine learning needs of various audiences (staff and leadership) and develops and implements training programs to ensure effective learning solutions. Partners with revenue cycle operations teams and the system learning team to ensure clear communication and successful relationships, ensuring overall success of Adventist Health.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Master's Degree: Preferred
  • Five years healthcare operations experience: Required
  • One year's leadership experience: Preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end Revenue Cycle operations, systems, metrics, and analytics: Required

Licenses/Certifications

  • Current permanent U.S. work authorization: Required

Essential Functions

  • Develops and implements effective training programs to improve job performance and continuous improvement across the revenue cycle. Seeks opportunities to improve training methods, modalities, and approaches. Provides guidance on training methodologies, processes, procedures, standards, tools, and best practices. Offers coaching and counseling on training and development issues. Responds to questions related to training application.
  • Gathers data and prepares reports to evaluate performance and training outcomes. Builds collaborative relationships with revenue cycle leadership, system learning resources, HR, IT, content vendors, and others. Stays current with training methodologies and tools. Oversees revenue cycle training offerings and deployment.
  • Creates and customizes learning solutions based on audience needs and strategic priorities. Manages content and curriculum creation and deployment.
  • Collaborates with revenue cycle leadership to align training with best practice solutions. Ensures continuous improvement of training methods to enhance job and operational performance. Develops training materials and resources for current and future staff.
  • Supervises a team of revenue cycle learning specialists. Oversees hiring, onboarding, quality assurance, coaching, and performance management. Fosters a culture of motivation, teamwork, performance, and accountability.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
