Experienced Revenue Cycle Manager - Home Infusion

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Collections Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our Miscellaneous Accounts Receivables Teams, managing payors such as Aetna, Cigna, Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid. Responsibilities include managing denials, preparing appeals, and ensuring reimbursements align with contracts. The manager will also perform quality reviews, identify training needs, and help document policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, extensive knowledge of collection practices, and compliance with Federal and State regulations related to billing and collections.

Job Summary

The Collections Manager is a full-time role responsible for supervising the collection staff and managing the collection processes to maximize cash flow, including contract analysis, reimbursement, denial management, and billing issues with insurance companies.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of healthcare industry experience required.
• Home Infusion and Intrathecal Pain Management experience preferred.
• 3-5 years Revenue Cycle Management experience required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee collections operations, including contract analysis, denials, claims monitoring, and staff productivity.
• Serve as SME for collection and billing processes.
• Coordinate with other departments for claim information.
• Prepare and analyze bi-weekly and monthly reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and develop policies.
• Supervise staff, conduct training, and perform quality reviews.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of NDC, medical terminology, and insurance plans.

Qualification Requirements

• Understanding of Revenue Cycle Management functions.
• Excellent communication, judgment, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, ICD-9/10, and medical terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Travel up to 25%.
