Job summary

Blue Shield of CA is seeking a Manager for the Product Lifecycle team to oversee the creation and maintenance of regulated member and broker materials, ensuring compliance with mandates and accuracy in communications.

The role emphasizes leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and delivery of timely, compliant materials while supporting continuous improvement in processes and governance across marketing health insurance products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Requires at least 7 years prior relevant experience.
• 2 years prior people management experience gained as a team leader, supervisor, project/program manager, or manager of contingent workers.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communications (verbal, written & presentation) skills.
• Ability to multitask with multiple deadlines and/or milestone requirements.
• Good analytical and quantitative skills with ability to use advanced features of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution, work organization, risk management and delegation.
• Knowledge of legal, brand and regulatory compliance requirements for marketing health insurance plans.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to lead direct reports and/or facilitate cross-functional marketing or project teams.

Responsibilities

• Support change management, filing, and mandate compliance within the Product Lifecycle team.

Your Role

The Product Lifecycle team drives Sr. Markets product cycle implementation, regulated material development, change management, filing, and mandates. The Manager will report to the Director. In this role you will manage, and update regulated member and/or broker materials according to our mandated requirements and customer experience for accurate and timely delivery of regulated or member facing communications.

Hybrid

This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week.

Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.
