Job summary

Ascension is seeking a role focused on managing daily operations at assigned practice sites in a healthcare setting. The position involves serving as a liaison between physicians, office staff, and broader clinical/administrative areas, while driving growth strategies with physician leadership.

The role emphasizes staffing, budgeting, billing oversight, and ensuring compliant, high-quality patient care delivery across sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison between practice physicians and office staff, and between the practice and clinical/administrative areas.
• Develops growth strategies and business plans with physician leadership; supports financial, budget and business goals.
• Ensures staffing aligns with provider schedules; may assist with physician compensation system development and implementation.
• Monitors billing and collection functions; oversees daily operations including services, site policies, staff development and patient flow.
• Oversees staff relations, scheduling, recruitment and payroll; manages budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts and vendor relations.
• Coordinates quality patient care with patients, staff, physicians and other providers.

Your future role at a glance

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Serves as a liaison between practice physicians and office employees, and between the practice and other clinical and administrative areas.
• Develops growth strategies and business plans in cooperation with practice physicians and physician leadership. Supports financial, budget and business goals.
• Ensures that staffing is in place to meet the demands of the provider's work schedules. May assist with the development and implementation of the physician compensation system.
• Monitors the billing and collection functions.
• Oversees daily operations of practice including but not limited to services, site policies, staff development, and patient flow.
• Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment and payroll.
• Monitors budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts and vendor relations.
• Assesses quality of and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other providers.
