Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Clinical Operations Leader for the 117th Street Clinic in Milwaukee area. The role focuses on overseeing daily operations, patient flow, and care coordination across providers and staff.

You will collaborate with physician leadership to plan growth strategies and ensure service excellence. Expect leadership of staffing, scheduling, payroll and performance management, while supervising budgets, billing processes, and regulatory compliance to support high-quality patient

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 2 years of cumulative experience and 1 year of leadership experience, or 4 years of cumulative job experience with 1 year of leadership experience.

• Oversees daily practice operations, site policies, patient flow, and care coordination.
• Liaises across clinical and administrative areas while developing business plans and growth strategies.
• Manages full lifecycle staffing including recruitment, scheduling, payroll and performance management.
• Handles budgets, billing and collection, vendor contracts, regulatory compliance and physician compensation systems.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Operations & Patient Care: Oversees daily practice operations, site policies, patient flow, and care coordination among providers, staff, and patients.
• Leadership & Strategy: Acts as a key liaison across clinical and administrative areas while developing business plans and growth strategies alongside physician leadership.
• Staff & HR Management: Handles full-lifecycle staffing, including recruitment, scheduling, payroll, performance management, conflict resolution, and coverage for provider schedules.
• Financial & Regulatory Oversight: Manages budgets, billing and collection functions, vendor contracts, regulatory compliance, and physician compensation systems.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• None Required.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required. OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.

Additional Preferences

• 40 hours a week | M-F | Day shift | No weekends or major holidays
• Prior clinical leadership experience
