Job description

Job Description

Healthcare providers go into medicine to care for people, but end up losing valuable time each day to admin work and other workplace challenges. Time that could otherwise be spent helping patients. And patients end up suffering as a result. At Commure, we build solutions that simplify providers' lives and keep them connected to their patients so they can focus on doing what matters most: providing care.

Our innovative suite of software and hardware – augmented by advanced LLM AI, RTLS, and healthcare workflow automations – boosts efficiency across every domain of healthcare, freeing up healthcare providers to spend more of their time caring for patients. Our growing suite of technologies includes staff duress alerting, asset tracking, patient elopement, revenue cycle management, clinical documentation and intake, provider copilots, patient engagement and communication, home health, remote patient monitoring, and more.

Today, we support over 250,000 clinicians across hundreds of care sites around the country. And we’re only just getting started: Healthcare’s watershed moment for AI-powered transformation is here – so join us in creating the technology to power healthcare!

About the Role

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager, People Operations to serve as the operational backbone of our global People function. You will lead part of the People Operations team, driving systems, policies, and programs that shape the day-to-day employee experience at scale. Success in this role requires a passion for people, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to streamline complexity. This is your opportunity to implement innovative approaches that enhance efficiency, compliance, and overall culture within a dynamic, high-growth environment.

What You'll Do

People Operations Leadership
  • Lead and evolve the People Operations function, ensuring outstanding employee experiences from onboarding through offboarding.
  • Own and continuously improve core HR processes, systems, and policies that support a global employee base.
  • Manage employee lifecycle workflows (onboarding, offboarding, employment verification, contractor support) with a strong emphasis on efficiency and compliance.
  • Provide timely, accurate resolution of People-related questions by collaborating closely with team members to deliver high-touch support.
  • Identify opportunities for operational innovation, propose solutions, gain buy-in, and implement changes end-to-end.
  • Leverage top-tier communication and project management skills to ensure initiatives are completed on time and drive meaningful results.
HR Systems, Data & Analytics
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (including People Analytics) to maintain data integrity across systems and integrations.
  • Champion automation, clear process documentation, and data flows that enable maximum efficiency and scalability.
  • Own and optimize the HR tech stack (Rippling, Zoho, Pave, Ashby, Google Suite) to ensure accuracy and a seamless user experience.
  • Create dashboards and analytics tools to help leaders make data-driven decisions that boost organizational effectiveness.
Policy, Compliance, Training & Process Improvement
  • Keep global HR policies updated, ensuring compliance, consistency, and clarity across all regions.
  • Continuously assess and refine processes around onboarding, offboarding, data management, and contractor support, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and a positive employee experience.
  • Lead training initiatives for People Managers and employees to ensure full understanding of processes, systems, and timelines.
  • Oversee compliance-related training and documentation, staying current with labor laws, documentation requirements, and data privacy regulations.
  • Manage communication and change efforts for all People Operations initiatives to ensure transparency, alignment, and smooth adoption.
Team Development & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing People Operations team dedicated to accountability, service excellence, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate closely with Payroll, Finance, Legal, and other key stakeholders to ensure People Operations initiatives align with broader business objectives and timelines.
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive culture within the People team and across the organization, championing best practices and knowledge sharing.

What You Have

  • 6–8+ years of progressive experience in People Operations, HR, or Payroll, with at least 3 years in a people management role.
  • Background that spans both large-scale public companies and smaller, fast-growing private organizations, showing adaptability and breadth.
  • Proven track record of designing and scaling processes in high-growth, global environments.
  • Deep knowledge of HR systems, tools, and data—experience with HRIS, analytics, and process automation.
  • Strong analytical mindset, using data to guide decisions, build dashboards, and optimize performance.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Proven experience partnering with cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
  • A passion for people, process improvement, and delivering a superb employee experience.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, build trust across all levels, and excel with a service-oriented mindset.
