Job Description Summary

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Manager of Solutions Engineering to lead a team that designs and delivers tailored LTL solutions for our customers. Job Description Summary

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Manager of Solutions Engineering to lead a team that designs and delivers tailored LTL solutions for our customers. This role is critical in bridging the gap between pricing, sales, linehaul, operations, and technology—ensuring that our solutions are not only innovative but also operationally and financially sound and scalable.

Critical Job Functions

• Lead and mentor a team of solutions engineers focused on developing customized LTL transportation strategies.
• Collaborate with sales, pricing, linehaul, and operations teams to design efficient, cost-effective logistics solutions.
• Oversee the development of tools, models, and dashboards that support solution design and performance tracking.
• Analyze shipment data and network performance to identify optimization opportunities.
• Leverage performance reporting to identify opportunities to control costs and meet operational and service objectives.
• Identify and remove barriers that slow or prevent the successful attainment of process improvements that will lead to cost reduction, operational improvements, and competitive advantage.
• Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in transportation or logistics engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of LTL operations, linehaul network design, and freight movement optimization.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI, or Tableau
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Travel to service centers to assist in implementation of products and solutions.
