Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a senior engineering leader to define and own subsystem baselines for aerospace structures and mechanisms. You will lead a team of engineers across design, analysis, manufacturing, integration and test to deliver hardware and software that meets mission objectives while balancing cost, schedule, and risk.

You will manage procurement, schedule, and budget, while mentoring staff and driving continuous improvement in a dynamic development environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full lifecycle development of aerospace structures and/or mechanisms.
• Experience leading technical teams and cross-functional groups.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define, own, and control subsystem technical baseline and lead hardware/software delivery.
• Manage external procurements and internal dependencies to meet schedule and cost targets.
• Coach and develop engineers; drive data-driven program management and risk management.
