Job summary

HealthPartners in Bloomington, MN, seeks an experienced CHO Direct Access Center Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the Direct Access Center CHO Department. Under direction of the Director, this role provides leadership in planning, coordinating, and supervising department activities while ensuring high standards of care and service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; nursing-focused.
• Minimum five (5) years in access center, hospital patient flow, capacity management, or operations.
• Minimum two (2) years of leadership or supervisory experience in a complex healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading operational improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary teams.
• Current RN license for MN or WI; must obtain both MN & WI licenses within 6 months of hire.

Job description

We’re looking for an experienced and dedicated CHO HealthPartners Direct Access Center Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the Direct Access Center CHO Department. Under the direction of the Director, this role provides leadership in planning, coordinating, and supervising department activities while ensuring high standards of care and service. This includes establishing,maintainingand evaluating standards of care and assuming responsibility for staff development, environmental, humanresourceand fiscal management.

Work Schedule:

Full time, Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursingor AD in Nursing and Baccalaureate degree in a related field
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in access center, hospital patient flow, capacity management, or operations
• Minimum two (2) years of leadership or supervisory experience in a complex healthcare environment
• Demonstrated experience leading operational improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary teams
• Current Registered Nurse license for either Minnesota or Wisconsin required upon hire. Must have both current MN & WI Registered Nurse license within 6 months of hire. Both Minnesota and Wisconsin license must be maintained
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) as required
