Location:

Remote (approved states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Washington)

The Role

The Global Events Manager - Trail will shape and execute HOKA’s sports marketing strategy, focusing on trail event partnerships like Western States and UTMB, and participant activations to enhance brand storytelling and engagement across global markets.

The ideal candidate is experienced in global event marketing, with a deep understanding of trail events, partnership management, and collaboration within complex organizations. This role requires innovation, self-direction, and excellent communication skills.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage all global trail partnerships, including branding, activation, licensed products, seeding, and digital content.
• Develop and manage the global trail partnership strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and measurable results.
• Coordinate with internal teams for planning and executing integrated projects.
• Oversee budgets, invoices, and payments, ensuring compliance with internal processes and timelines.

Qualifications and Skills

• Critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and time management skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (40-50%).
• Experience in event management, contract negotiations, budget management, project management, and social media.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; English required, French a plus.
• Experience working in global organizations with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of current trends, innovation, and cross-cultural agility.
