Reports to:

Sr. Manager, Global Sports Marketing - Events

Location:

Remote (Residency required in AZ, CA, CO, IN, MA, MN, NY, OR, PA, TX, UT, WA)

The Role

The Global Events Manager - Trail will shape and execute HOKA’s sports marketing strategy, lead trail event partnerships like Western States and UTMB, and manage participant activations to enhance brand storytelling and engagement across global markets. The candidate should have proven experience in global event marketing, strategic partnership management, and collaboration within complex organizations. This role requires innovation, self-direction, and excellent communication skills.

Your Impact

• Manage global trail partnerships, including branding, activations, licensed products, digital content, etc.
• Develop and execute global trail partnership strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with social, creative, PR, product, and regional marketing teams for integrated project execution.
• Oversee budgets, invoices, and payments, ensuring adherence to internal processes.

Who You Are

• Critical thinker, problem solver, team player, good at time management, self-motivated.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to travel 40-50% domestically and internationally.
• Experience in event management, contract negotiations, cross-functional alignment, budget and project management, social media, B2B partnerships, and athlete community engagement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, English; French is a plus.
• Strong relationship-building, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Experience in global organizations and cross-cultural agility.
• Innovative leadership with coaching ability, attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
