Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a Manager, Finance & Accounting to oversee core accounting functions, close processes, and GAAP-compliant reporting. This highly visible role partners across the organization to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen the finance function.

The successful candidate will lead accounting staff, ensure robust internal controls, and support external audits and ERP initiatives. Salary is competitive and aligned with annual compensation expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA a plus.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems and financial software.
• Detail-oriented self-starter who can manage multiple accounting functions and priorities.
• Strong communication skills to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage core accounting functions, including general ledger activity, journal entries, account reconciliations, and the monthly financial close.
• Support preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements, including balance sheet, P&L, cash flow statements, and related reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable, vendor reconciliations and contracts, and support payroll tax compliance, tax payments, and statutory filings.
• Manage and develop accounting staff while ensuring strong internal controls, financial compliance, and accurate reporting.
• Support external audits, ERP processes, automation initiatives, and process improvements across the finance function.
