Job summary

Idea Financial is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee month-end close, financial reporting, and compliance. Reporting to the CFO, you will manage journal entries, GL maintenance, and interfaces with auditors.

This hands-on role requires strong GAAP knowledge, ERP experience, and leadership to mentor staff, drive process improvements, and ensure accurate financial records in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• CPA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Support annual audits and tax reporting activities.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements and internal controls.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff as assigned.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will be responsible for financial reporting, month-end close, account reconciliations, compliance, and general accounting activities while helping maintain accurate and efficient accounting processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
