Job summary

Tampa Electric, a subsidiary of Emera Inc., is hiring a Manager of Commercial & Load Management Programs. This role leads development, implementation, and operations of DSM and load-management initiatives, working across departments to meet FPSC plans and drive participant engagement.

Responsibilities include team leadership, data-driven decision making, and integration with grid modernization and enterprise systems, plus regulatory engagement and vendor management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or other business-related field (required).
• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field (preferred).
• 6+ years of related experience in utility, engineering, or business-related field (required).
• 3+ years of direct supervisory experience (required).
• Valid driver’s license is required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage development, implementation, and operations of Commercial programs and Residential Load Management/DSM programs.
• Lead a team and foster collaboration to meet FPSC-approved DSM plans.
• Use data analytics to assess program effectiveness and drive improvements.
• Integrate load management programs with grid modernization initiatives and enterprise systems.
• Engage in regulatory policy development and ensure compliance and recoverability of expenses.
• Develop partnerships and lead contract negotiations with vendors and stakeholders.
