The Manager, Communications and Training Development manages System-Wide Training Development for the Student Success division and is responsible for leading selection, logistics, curriculum development, and budget and resource management for several training development programs and initiatives. The manager will be responsible for the development, preparation, and online facilitation of training needs for faculty and staff as needed by the Student Success division, and train/develop staff system-wide by creating on-demand training curriculum. The Manager also works across functional units in Student Success to develop training models to be used throughout the system and is responsible for training development, assessment, and continuous improvement in support of system-wide Student Success related initiatives.
The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of standing; walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; or recurring lifting of moderately heavy items, such as typewriters and record boxes. The work may require specific, but common, physical characteristics and abilities, such as above-average agility and dexterity.
Hiring salary range is $54,528 - $62,708. Lone Star College provides a hiring salary range for all posted full-time non-faculty positions. Where your salary offer would fall in that range is determined by your related experience and education.
