Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking an outstanding Manager, Legal Programs (Privacy & AI) to join our growing Legal team, shaping how we govern AI and privacy across the business. You will split your time between privacy program activities and our developing AI governance efforts, partnering with Privacy and AI Counsels and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience - Required
• 6+ years of experience in legal project/program management with a focus on privacy and/or AI governance - Required
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and/or emerging AI regulation
• Experience managing stakeholders and cross-functional teams from project initiation through close
• Organization skills with the experience managing multiple and sometimes competing priorities
• Project management, time-management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and delivering operational results
• Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams and interacting with a diverse range of stakeholders, ranging from front-line engineers to strategic company leadership

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the AI governance program, developing processes, workflows, and documentation for responsible AI use across the business
• Manage the cross-functional AI governance committee with stakeholders from Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Legal
• Own and manage AI incident response and integrate with data security and privacy risk management
• Build and maintain an inventory of AI systems and use cases, coordinating intake
• Monitor evolving AI regulations and translate requirements into program updates
• Partner with Privacy Program Manager to run the Privacy Program in coordination with Legal, Product, and Engineering
• Help manage compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and medical privacy laws, including data maps and processing records
• Conduct initial reviews on privacy risks in new initiatives and coordinate reviews
• Support Vendor Review Program from a privacy perspective, including questionnaires and contract negotiations
• Own implementation of strategic legal initiatives with cross-functional teams
• Coordinate with Legal and Public Policy teams to monitor evolving privacy and AI legislation
